PILATES

Pilates is a form of exercise generally done with an instructor that uses principles that will improve the body's muscle strength and flexibility to help patients move more easily and pain-free.

Pilates is wrongly often associated with yoga. Pilates is more about repetitions of an exercise in a position whereas yoga tends to increase the stretch into a position.

Pilates will :

  • Improve muscle strength and endurance

  • Improve and enhance core stability

  • Improve flexibility

  • Improve balance and coordination

  • Decrease pain

  • Decrease in fear and anxiety
