Why Join Us

Join a growing practice.
We recently moved into new premises with individual treatment rooms and a big rehab gym. This has allowed us to grow the team and extend the services we offer.

Our caseload is mainly made up of MSK and post-op conditions with the usual mix of self and insurance referrals. We also offer Women's Health physiotherapy and neuro rehab. We have a sports therapist and two massage therapists supporting the three physios working at the clinic.

We now offer Running Prehab classes and we are developing post-op classes as well as ante/post-natal classes.

We are busy and we are growing. There are great opportunities for career progression.

Become a better clinician.

You will be expected to confidently and independently manage a busy caseload. And we will support you achieve that.   We provide weekly in-house training (as a team or on a one-to-one basis as needed) and have regular patient audits.  Discussing challenging cases with your peers is the best way to learn.

Areas for development will be discussed with you on a regular basis and we will contribute towards relevant course fees to help you pursue your professional goals.   S&C training will be offered in-house.

All our treatment plans are individualised to suit our patients’ needs and goals.  We are exactly the same with our staff. We expect you to give the best of yourself, but we realise that there is more to life than work.  A great work-life balance is very important to us and we are generally flexible with working hours.

Who are we interested in.

1. Physiotherapists

We are particularly interested in physios who have started any of the following: recognised Manual therapy courses, Orthopaedic Medicine courses, the McKenzie Method, Acupuncture and Pilates qualifications. Experience in Pilates teaching would be desirable and there would plenty of opportunity to develop additional classes.

Ideally with 1+ of experience in Sports.

2. Sports therapists
with at least 2 years experience in private practice or/and Sports team

3. Massage therapists
with at least two years experience in sports massage therapy.

Recruiting for an experienced Physiotherapist

History Present Conditions:

7-year old Physiotherapy clinic in Dunfermline, Fife, looking for a (full or part-time) MSK physio.

Would preferably recruit at least two year experience physio with MSK/sports experience but will consider a person with less experience showing the right desire/spirit/fit.

Must have HCPC registration (obvs!) and appropriate professional liability insurance. Not able to offer sponsorship.

Must be competent in manual therapy and confident in prescribing exercises programme.

Can be employed or self-employed.

We are a team of three physiotherapists,  one sports therapist and two admin support staff.  We offer MSK physiotherapy (Sports injury, back/neck pain and post-op) and women’s health physiotherapy.  We also run Pilates classes.

Eases:

Great support and mentorship by the whole team- we will help you develop your physio skills!

Our patients are nice, want to get better and are generally proactive.

Interesting In-services that really happen weekly.

Financial help towards CPD.

Above NHS salary for employee, fair share for self-employee.

Performance bonus for employees

Pension contribution for employees

Aggs:

Unfortunately, you will need to see and treat patients and most of them will complain of pain….

And you will have to write notes…. sorry.

24H:

The clinic is open Monday to Saturday. We generally ask each physio to work one evening a week (finish at 8pm) but apart from that,  we are pretty flexible and will always try to accommodate with childcare, etc.

Red flags: The boss is French

Yellow Flags: Fife is not that far from the central belt when you check properly…

Goal: Like everybody else, we are struggling to find a new physio to join the team. Really hoping that can change soon.
