Who am I?
I am a physiotherapist with 20 years’ experience, including 18 years working in sport, specialising in musculoskeletal injury and rehabilitation.
After qualifying, I relocated to Edinburgh, where I developed a strong clinical foundation through the NHS and roles in elite sport, including Edinburgh Accies Rugby and the Hibernian Academy. These experiences shaped my expertise in managing complex injuries and supporting high-performance demands.
My career has taken me across three continents and four countries, including Bermuda, the United States, and New Zealand, complemented by extensive international work with athletes and teams. A defining professional achievement was my role as Head of Athletic Performance for American Magic during the 2024 America’s Cup, operating within a performance-critical setting demanding clinical precision and measurable results.
I continue to work remotely with professional and Olympic-level athletes, applying elite rehabilitation principles to clients of all levels — whether the goal is returning to sport, recovering after surgery, or improving everyday movement.
I joined Benji Physiotherapy in May 2021, drawn to its strong client-centred ethos and commitment to high-quality care.
If you’re ready to move better and recover with confidence, I’d be pleased to support your journey.
Are we also able to change to the most recent picture you took please. Any issues let me know.

I have over 15 years’ experience as a physiotherapist, with 4 years working in professional sport, as lead physiotherapist for professional sailing teams American Magic and Softbank Team Japan. For both teams, I oversaw the rehabilitation of all injured athletes. I also worked in unison with strength and conditioning staff to create bespoke injury prevention protocols and lead training sessions for each of the sailors.
Before my roles in professional sailing, I was a manager of a private clinic in Bermuda, working largely with the Bermuda national sports teams and high-level individuals returning them to their sport. This often involved designing and running injury prevention classes for team and individual sports such as football, cricket, swimming, golf, and athletics. Within the clinic, I also ran rehab sessions for lower limb, spinal, and upper limb injuries. Often my role would require me to travel to different countries to provide physiotherapy cover for both the national football team and cricket team.
Injury prevention is key area of interest of mine. I have constructed several injury preventions programs across numerous sports including football, sailing, swimming, cricket, golf, rugby, and athletics. As well as being able to deliver a sound injury prevention program, I also keep up to date with the latest techniques and treatments to ensure optimal, evidence-based rehabilitation of all my injured athletes.
