Running Injury Clinic

Get back to running pain-free

Let’s get you running again – pain-free

Still running through pain? Or have you stopped altogether because it keeps coming back?

Our Running Injury Clinic is designed for runners who are stuck – whether you've been dealing with the same niggle for weeks, watching it flare up every time training ramps up, or you've lost confidence in your body altogether.

We'll find out exactly what's causing the problem, not just where it hurts. Then we'll build a clear plan to get you running again – pain-free, and with the confidence to push on.

Who is this clinic for?

Ideal for runners, triathletes or Hyrox competitors who:

  • Keep getting injured

  • Cannot increase mileage without pain

  • Feel stuck in a cycle of flare-ups

  • Are unsure how to return to running

  • Want a proper explanation for their symptoms

  • Are preparing for an event, but struggling with injury

  • Want expert guidance rather than generic advice

What does the clinic include?

  • We begin with a detailed discussion about:

    • Your injury history

    • Training patterns and running volume

    • Previous injuries

    • Footwear and surfaces

    • Recovery habits

    • Changes in training load or intensity

This helps us identify potential contributing factors and understand the timeline behind the injury.

  • Next, you will get a comprehensive clinical assessment to identify:

    • Mobility restrictions

    • Specific muscle-strength assessment

    • Movement compensations

    • Joint limitations

    • Muscle imbalance

    • Control and stability deficits

    • Plyometric and impact assessment

This is a detailed one-to-one physiotherapy assessment tailored specifically to runners.

  • Then, we will assess your running technique:

    • Either on a treadmill within the clinic or

    • Outdoors, depending on your goals and conditions

Using the Ochy App video analysis, we’ll assess:

    • Running mechanics

    • Cadence

    • Loading patterns

    • Landing strategy

    • Limb control

    • Movement efficiency

The aim is not to completely change your running style, but to identify movement patterns that may be contributing to excessive stress or inefficient loading.
